“Why Exercise Lets You Eat More of What You Love”

Sam loved chocolate chip cookies, but he always worried about eating too many. One day, his big sister explained something exciting. “You know, Sam,” she said with a smile, “when you exercise, it helps you burn calories. That means you can eat more of the things you love without feeling guilty!” Sam was curious. His sister showed him how, when he played outside and ran around, his body used energy, and that helped him stay balanced. “So, if I run, I can eat more cookies?” Sam asked. “Exactly!” she said. Sam ran around the yard and felt so strong. Later, he enjoyed a cookie and didn’t feel bad about it. He learned that exercise wasn’t just about being healthy; it gave him the freedom to enjoy his favorite foods! Exercise helped Sam burn energy, which meant he could eat the things he loved and still feel great. From that day on, Sam enjoyed playing outside and eating cookies without worry. He felt happy because he knew that being active gave him the balance he needed to enjoy life!
