David always thought that workouts had to be hard and serious to work. He pushed himself really hard, doing exercises that didn’t make him happy. But soon, David started to dread his workouts. “Why am I not enjoying this?” he wondered. One day, his coach saw David looking unhappy and said, “David, the best workouts are the ones you enjoy.” The coach explained, “When you enjoy what you’re doing, you’re more likely to stick with it.” David wasn’t sure at first, but he decided to give it a try. He added fun activities like running with his dog, playing basketball, and even jumping on a trampoline. To his surprise, he felt more excited to work out! David started seeing even more progress, not because his workouts were harder, but because they were more fun. He learned that when you enjoy what you do, it’s easier to stay consistent, and that’s what really makes you stronger. David felt happy and motivated, knowing that fitness could be fun and still help him grow.
