“Traveling Without Sacrificing Your Fitness Goals”

Max was excited to go on vacation, but he was nervous. “What if I forget about my fitness goals while traveling?” he wondered. His mom told him, “You don’t have to sacrifice your fitness goals while traveling. You can enjoy the adventure and still take care of your body.” Max wasn’t sure how, so his mom showed him. “You can go for a walk on the beach, swim in the pool, or even try new sports on your trip!” Max was excited. Instead of sitting for hours, he explored the city on foot, enjoying the sights and getting exercise at the same time. For meals, he chose to balance his food—eating fruits, veggies, and enjoying local treats without overeating. He also drank plenty of water to stay hydrated. By the end of the vacation, Max felt great. He had tried new foods, explored new places, and still kept up with his fitness. Max learned that traveling didn’t mean he had to stop taking care of himself. It was all about staying active and making mindful choices. He felt happy and proud of his balance!
