“Pre-Workout and Post-Workout Meals You’ll Actually Look Forward To”

Eli loved playing basketball, but he didn’t like how his tummy felt empty before practice. One day, his mom told him about special meals he could eat before and after working out. “A pre-workout meal is like giving your body fuel to help it play better,” she explained. Eli’s mom made him a banana smoothie with yogurt and peanut butter, and it tasted so good. After basketball, she gave him a sandwich with turkey and cheese. “This helps your muscles recover,” she said. Eli loved these meals because they tasted yummy and made him feel strong. He started looking forward to both the workouts and the food. He noticed he had more energy during basketball, and after the game, he didn’t feel tired or hungry. Eli learned that food wasn’t just for eating, but also to help him feel better after exercising. By choosing the right foods before and after his workouts, Eli felt proud and happy. He was ready to play his best and enjoy every bite!
